Craig Lutz, a former high school NXN champion, talks about his first season of NCAA collegiate cross country. Lutz recently finished 15th place at a very competitive Wisconsin XC Invite, where he was the number one freshman in the race and led Texas to a surprise 6th place team finish. After a slow start due to some setbacks in summer training, Lutz is rolling full steam ahead and looks to lead a young Longhorns team to a successful season. Lutz and his Texas teammate will race this coming Saturday at the Big 12 XC Championships hosted by Texas A&M. Flotrack will be on site.
